Julio received a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and an Associate Degree in Engineering Science from SUNY Orange County Community College. He is a Design Engineer at the firm with over four years of professional experience in structural engineering, building assessments, and construction administration.
Julio has developed comprehensive expertise in conducting inspections and evaluations of existing structures, with particular proficiency in Local Law 126 compliance, fire escape assessments, facade investigations, roofing surveys, and parking structure evaluations. His experience extends to Property Condition Assessments for real estate transactions, as well as Capital Reserve and Transition Studies for condominiums, cooperatives, and homeowner associations in accordance with CAI’s National Reserve Study Standards.
Julio is skilled in preparing construction documents, project drawings, and specifications, and has demonstrated strong capabilities in structural design and calculations for residential, commercial, and specialty structures including helipads and foundations. He maintains a hands-on approach to project management, from initial site surveys through contractor coordination and punch list inspections, ensuring projects meet both client expectations and regulatory requirements.
His technical proficiency encompasses shop drawing review, bid tabulation, quantity take-offs, and construction cost estimation. Julio has experience coordinating with owners’ representatives, contractors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction. He is adept at ensuring compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and relevant regulations while managing multiple concurrent projects.
